Mark Hason, MVI Founder/President, is an accomplished video and television producer with 15+ years in the entertainment business. His production and marketing expertise has been the driving force behind a wide variety of properties for industry leaders such as MTV, NBC, Telemundo, NYC TV, Arista Records, J Records, Jive Records, and Tommy Boy Music as Creative Director/Video Commissioner. Mark has worked with Alicia Keys, hip-hop legends Run DMC and Naughty By Nature, Wyclef Jean, Daddy Yankee and Aventura. His creative vision contributed greatly to multi-platinum success of the 10 volume series "MTV Party To Go," and the genre-defining compilation "ESPN Presents: Jock Jams." He has also worked on projects for Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliot, Lil Jon, and Fat Joe, among many others.

Mark recognized early on the growing potential in the Urban Latin market, so in 2000 he began creating programming for this audience. MVI partnered with Reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee to produce the genre's first ever nationally televised concert and pay-per-view event. Prior to that Mark helped launch and produce the highly popular Urban Latin lifestyle show "The Roof," a daily two-hour live music and entertainment program that aired nationally on NBC's Mun2 Television, and on Telemundo International. He produced and directed a series of live concert DVDs for Dominican supergroup Aventura, and co-produced a music video for Wyclef Jean featuring Tego Calderon.

Most recently Mark has worked as producer and post-production supervisor for NYCTV's "New York 360º" an entertainment magazine show created for broadcast on WNBC. He was instrumental in the launch of V-Me, a national Spanish language public television network, created and distributed in cooperation with WNET in New York. Mark is a well-known executive in the TV and music industries. He holds a BA and a Master's Degree from Columbia University, and completed coursework at the NYU Center for Digital Media, the Jazz Program at City College, and the School of Visual Arts.
